Summary

In the last 10 years I have developed a great deal of experience providing a wide range of support to the Graphic Arts Industry. As a Prepress Engineer I have provided sales, technical training, on-site installation, troubleshooting and technical support on several varieties of digital prepress hardware and software. My responsibilities have included pre-site surveys to insure legacy equipment integrates into new workflows, research of new products, and sales proposals for complete CTP systems.

 As an implementation specialist I have gained experience in conducting training needs analysis as well as designing, developing, and delivering application or technical training programs to meet the identified needs for the Graphic Arts user. My unique abilities include being able to find, understand, organize and present technical information so that users can learn quickly, easily and enthusiastically.

I am a resourceful individual who thrives in a dynamic fast past environment I am able to manage multiple tasks, work independently, set priorities, solve problems, make decisions and follow through. Strengths:

·         Expert in prepress production, preparing electronic files for the print process, able to do imposition, trapping, preflighting and high end output to color proofers, image setters and plate setters

·         Expert level use of QuarkXpress, PageMaker, Illustrator, PhotoShop, FreeHand, MSOffice and many others

·         Capable of providing Graphic Design services, in designing web pages and creating graphics for web publishing

·         High level of expertise with Apple specific computer architectures, Mac troubleshooting, support and preventive maintenance on all hardware and OS’s up to and including the G4 running MacOS 9.04

·         Extremely proficient at supporting IBM/PC compatible and Macintosh personal computer workstations and servers, able to install and upgrade all components including motherboards, memory, hard disk drives, CD Rom drives and various expansion cards

·         Provided installation and post sales technical support on Xinet FullPress, Fusion RIP, RasterBlaster and various other desktop Graphic Arts applications.

·         Certified in Agfa’s Apogee system including Viper, Taipan, Print Drive, and InRip Trapping

·         Extremely proficient using harlequin RIP based solutions especially FusionDFE, Xitron and RasterBlaster
